"The staff seemed genuinely friendly and eager to help. It was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. The hotel let us move to the quiet, garden-side of the hotel, which was nice and very quiet at night. The rooms were a good size, as were the well-appointed bathrooms."

"The staff service was excellent, both me and my wife came for our mini break honeymoon for 2 nights, arriving at 2am in the morning Stephen still kindly gave us a tour of the facilities around the hotel. I rang The Mondrago kensington in advance about this being our wedding night and they provided a lovely mini champagne set, spelt love out on the bed with towels and rose petals as well as some petals and floating candles in the bath. The bar staff kindly gave us complimentary champagne to toast our wedding night and Lucia in the morning allowed us to sit for breakfast even though we had just arrived after closing time in the restaurant area, and she provided extra scrambled egg too when it had run out, what a nice lady!..What a nice hotel, thank you..5 stars from us! "The lounge area seemed more suited to the mature crowd (I was traveling with my teenaged daughter). Also there was no plug for the hair dryer near a mirror. Had to make do by bending and stretching closer to the closet mirror. All in all minor complaints compared to the otherwise very comfortable stay."

"The staff were all without exception kind, helpful, eager to please and very nice. The porters always got us a taxi with an umbrella, the maids gave us extra teabags and milk. The bar staff when my wife had a cold made her a honey and lemon drink. We felt at home. There is a cigar room next to the bar which is great for smokers. Food in the restaurant was not too expensive and very tasty."
